Fran graduated from Cordoba University, Spain in 2002. After completing internships in both Spain and Ireland, Fran continued to work at an equine referral hospital in Ireland. Fran joined Shotter and Byers in 2009 and started training in Veterinary Acupuncture in 2013.

Fran has gone on to complete the ABVA (Association of British Veterinary Acupuncture) foundation course and also the IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) Certification course.

Recently Fran has also completed his course in Veterinary Chiropractic with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC) in Germany.  He passed written and practical examinations of both the IAVC and IVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association).

Fran has a particular interest in Acupuncture and Chiropractic, also polo/sport horse medicine.

In his spare time Fran enjoys salsa dancing and is currently looking to take part in rock climbing.
