Practice and Pharmacy Manager

Holly became a valuable member of our Team in the summer of 2011 as Veterinary Secretary to Nicole Larkin. Prior to joining us, she came from Managing a local yard of Eventers, Hunters and young horses with a Team of five people. Holly took this role after graduating from the University of Plymouth where she received her BSc HONS Degree in Animal Science, Behaviour, Management and Welfare and in 2009, took a sabbatical and travelled to Australia where she lived and worked for a year before returning to the UK.

In August of 2011, Holly joined Shotter & Byers as Veterinary Secretary and later took on the role of Pharmacy Manager and trained to become our ‘Suitably Qualified Person’ (RSQP) – a legal category of professionally qualified persons who are entitled to prescribe and/or supply certain veterinary medicines under the Veterinary Medicines Regulations. In October 2013, Holly was also promoted to Practice Manager which is the position she holds today.

In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, walking her dog and socialising with friends as well as helping out on her parent’s small livestock farm whenever she can.
